The Music Office VideoVault Volume 1

Ready for a great value in video backgrounds and DVD menus? Look no further than VideoVault Volume 1. High resolution backdrops including skies, environments, DVD menus (still and motion) and a library of basic particle footage to get you started in the next level of video production.

If you are new to compositing or a video pro, the most important savings you get with this package is time. Sure anyone can fire up a copy of Bryce, Vue Espirit or other digital environment software. You set up the environment you want in your 10-second 720x480 animation, set render for superfine anti-aliasing and it looks pretty good. You are dying to see what your animation will look like rendered. You click on “render animation” and then WAIT from three to twelve hours to see what the animation will look like on your video editor’s timeline.

You be creative and leave the rendering to us!

Here’s our process:
All the animations, regardless of software platform are created and rendered in at least 720x480 resolution. These are carefully tweaked to display the most compelling movement and 24-bit color. They are then rendered at the highest resolution settings possible with anti-aliasing set to maximum for the highest quality results. Hours (sometimes days) later the render is complete. Our rendering server farm consists of Pentium P4s running at 2.8 GHz with a gig of RAM each – we endure the long hours of rendering so you won’t have to. In all honesty setting up a Bryce animation is not rocket science - anyone can do it - but the rendering times can discourage the most avid video enthusiast.

The animations are then color corrected, cropped and individually indexed, and converted to the MS DV AVI standard – again at the highest resolution possible. The final output is, in most cases, suitable for immediate use, without rendering, in your video production - that's the power of using a Windows native platform. If you are a Bryce, Vue or 3DS user, you get a chance to see what a particular background will look like before you invest in a long render. If time is money, we save you a bundle!

Why VideoVault?
Regarding Quality

Beware of other vendors who claim to be sending you raw uncompressed video files (usually in QuickTime format). They make claims of great video quality and then deliver all this “high quality uncompressed” content on a single CD! We had to work hard to cram it all onto a DVD! If you had to guess, which would have the higher quality – 50 files on a full CD or 50 files on a full DVD? The bottom line is that seeing is believing. Check out a quick video of the product here

Why MS DV AVI?
There is nothing wrong with QuickTime, it’s a great compression codec but for Windows users, it can be somewhat of a pain since it is not the native platform for Windows so a short render will be necessary to preview your QuickTime video. Our files were developed rendered and delivered in an all-Windows native environment and in most cases hit your editor’s timeline ready to rock! Any Mac user with the latest Windows Media v9.x codec on their machine can utilize the files with no problem.

The files are completely compatible with the following NLE platforms:(and many more)

Adobe Premiere Pro, Edius, Video Studio, Final Cut, 3-D Studio Max, Ulead Media Studio, I-Movie, and even Windows Movie Shaker!
